Damn unions

Why is it that if a bunch of gas stations all get together and agree that the price of gas is $5/gallon, we call it “collusion” and therefore “illegal”, but when a bunch of writers get together and say “we’re gonna charge a minimum of $x/hr for writing and you’ll need to pay us $y/DVD”, nobody bats an eye. Crazy.
